Review "The Da Vinci Code" Written by Dan Brown

Da Vinci Code

Written by Dan Brown

Genre: Mystery

Rating: 8/10

The Da Vinci Code begins with a spectacular murder in the Louvre Museum. Professor Robert Langdon is sent to the murder scene, and with the help of the victim’s granddaughter, Sophie Neveu, they find the clues to uncover a secret that has been protected and hidden for over 2000 years. They are stunned to discover a trail of clues hidden in the works of Leonardo da Vinci—clues visible for all to see and yet ingeniously disguised by the painter. Unless Langdon and Neveu can uncover the secret now, it will be lost forever.

The book is known to be highly controversial, but is a very engaging read that was hard to put down. There is no real suitable age group for this, but the topics are complicated and research will be needed to understand all the content the book uses. The mystery and situations that the book is set in creates a gripping and suspenseful feel for the audience until the conclusion, and the book is very well written. Recommended to all readers.
